Fruitful cooperation between H2020 projects: AMBER and FIThydro

AMBER participates in the FIThydro’s second General Assembly which took place in Poitiers, France. The meeting was celebrated during the past 6th- 9 th November 2017 and was hosted by Institute Pprime.
 
 
FIThydro (Fishfriendly Innovative Technologies for Hydropower) addresses the decision support in commissioning and operating hydropower plants by use of existing and innovative technologies. It concentrates on mitigation measures and strategies to develop cost-efficient environmental solutions and on strategies to avoid individual fish damage and enhancing population developments. Peter Jones from Swansea University (Wales) and Piotr Parasiewicz from the Stanisław Sakowicz Inland Fisheries Institute (Poland) presented the progress made in the work packages 1, 2, 3 and 4 and obtained useful feedback from refinement of experimental methods to improve utilkity of datasets produced.
