2nd IAHR International Symposium on Water System Operations Bristol (UK) 2-4 September 2020

The 2nd International Symposium on Water System Operations (ISWSO2020) will take place in Bristol, United Kingdom, on 2-4 September 2020.

The symposium is the second in a new IAHR series, started by the successful ISWSO2018 in Beijng, and aims at establishing an international network of researchers and practitioners in the field of monitoring, modelling and optimisation of water systems operations.

The call for extended abstracts will open in February 2020. We will welcome contributions on new advances of data analysis, modelling and optimisation approaches to improve the management of water resource systems such as reservoirs, diversions, irrigation or hydropower systems. We will also welcome contributions demonstrating the use of tools and methods in real-world applications, examples of co-production of research between researchers and practitioners, and tools for enhancing the transparency, reproducibility and communication of methods and applications.
