AMBER project celebrated with variety of activities

The official launch of the H2020 AMBER project was celebrated in 8 different countries throughout Europe (Belgium, United Kingdom, Ireland, Poland, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and Germany). To celebrate the AMBER project, the project partners organised various types of activities in the November and December varying from seminars and workshops to field trips and screening of documentaries.

The activities attracted a good mixture of audiences. The field trip to a fish passage facility in Switzerland was attended by people from mostly hydropower companies.

Several seminars, conferences and workshops organised in Spain, Italy, Poland, Ireland, Germany and the United Kingdom attracted the interest of researchers, barrier managers, policy makers and other stakeholders. The AMBER Launch event workshop in Madrid, Spain for instance was attended by representatives of various types of organisations.
